What the service does
domain-repair.com scans domains you submit for SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and blacklist status using public DNS lookups. The free scan is read-only: it cannot and does not modify any DNS record. If you connect a sending platform or DNS provider, the specific permissions granted are described on the Security and How We Work pages, and remain accurate at the time of use.
Only scan domains you have authorization for
The free scan performs a DNS lookup, which is functionally the same as any public DNS query. It doesn't require authorization for a domain you don't own. Connecting a sending platform or granting DNS write access does require that you have the legal authority to do so for the domains involved; you're responsible for that authorization, not us.
Rate limits
The free scan is limited to 5 scans per day per network to keep the service available to everyone. This limit may change without notice.
No warranty on scan results
Scan results reflect what public DNS resolvers returned at the moment of the check. DNS propagation delays, resolver caching, and upstream outages can all affect accuracy. Don't treat a single scan as the sole basis for a decision with real consequences. That's exactly the gap continuous monitoring is meant to close.
Remediation, when it's enabled
Any DNS write access is scoped to what's explicitly described at the time you grant it, defaults to requiring your approval before a change is applied, and can be revoked by you at any time. We log every proposed and applied change with who, what, and when.
Service availability
This is an early-access product. Features described as “in development” are not yet available. We'll tell you plainly when something isn't built yet rather than let you assume it works.
